There's nothing like menopause to bring a woman closer to God. 
You know what I mean...
praying for sleep, seeking guidance about HRT, and asking forgiveness
from your loved ones for being cranky or, even, down-right mean! 

Obviously, there are no direct references to menopause in the Bible,
but here are some scriptures I've found helpful in surviving The Change.

My favorite is this warning for husbands of moody women....
"The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the foolish keep going and suffer for it." 
Proverbs 27:12

A REFERENCE TO HOT FLASHES & NIGHT SWEATS?!
"We went through fire and water, but You brought us to a place of abundance."   Psalm 66:12

AT THE END OF YOUR ROPE? 
"This is the day the Lord has made.  I will rejoice, and be glad in it."   Psalm 118:24

"I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content."  Philippians 4:11

"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."  Philippians 4:13

"Do not be anxious about anything."  Philippians 4:6

"....be strengthened with all power.....so that you may have great endurance and patience.." Colossians 1:11

WORDS OF ADVICE FOR FAMILIES OF HORMONAL WOMEN (especially husbands!)
"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have..." Colossians 3:13

"A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver."  Proverbs 25:11

"A patient man has great understanding......"    Proverbs 14:29

"A man of understanding holds his tongue."  Proverbs 11:12

"Better a patient man than a warrior."  Proverbs 16:32

"Wise men turn away from anger."  Proverbs 29:8

CONTROLLING YOUR MOODINESS

SEEK KNOWLEDGE WITH DISCERNMENT
"Do not pay attention to every word people say....." Ecclesiastes 7:21
